Truth in many cases is personal and unique to the person holding it. Often born from a judgment, proposition, or idea that is true or accepted as true, also known as a belief or principle. Can also be thought of as “commonly accepted” but better said — a commonly accepted belief — aka proposition.
Any knock at the door, if answered, may carry a proposition. A proposition is a proposal or offer or suggestion. Propositions, when carefully crafted with delivery detail, can mold a person’s or group’s beliefs — becoming their truth. Propositions have been part of our progression since before recordings are available. Today, every salesman, business owner and corporation, institution or media group knows exactly what propositions are and how to “mold a person or group’s beliefs”, becoming their truth. The proposer can now exploit the position or beliefs you now willingly accept.

The Yawanawá people’s first contact with the non-indigenous world happened around the fourteenth century. It was an intense period of much conflict with the rubber barons and missionaries who invaded their lands and tried to forbid Yawanawá language, culture, and spirituality.

“Nixiwaka was born in Kaxinawa, the most sacred part of the Yawanawá lands in the western Brazilian Amazon. There are over 900 Yawanawá, living in 8 tribal villages. The name Yawanawá translates as ‘The People of the Wild Boar’ and the rainforest provides their food, housing, medicine and virtually everything they need. As a child, Nixiwaka learned to speak Portuguese and in 2010, he travelled to the UK to learn English so the tribe could represent themselves on a world stage. After 5 years living between London and Brazil he moved back to his tribe and has been living in the Amazon Rainforest full time for the past two years, training as a shaman”.
